Now is an exciting time to be involved in Scouting, as we develop our Skills for Life strategy, to prepare better futures and deliver skills for life to young people who want to access scouting. The Support Lead volunteer role is an important appointment within {websiteNameAuto} (BSO), responsible for providing inspirational and effective leadership of our Support team.
As Area Support Team Lead you will take the lead in making sure we support our adult volunteers through effective communications through our website, social channels and quarterly Far & Wide magazine. You’ll also support out technical team who manage our Microsoft 365 tenant.
Away from communications, you’ll support our Growth & New Provision Lead, who working with our District Lead Volunteers will help to identify growth opportunities across BSO and developing our relationships with our host National Scouting Organisations.
The BSO team is broad and includes our Area Lead Volunteer, Area Team Leads, District Lead Volunteers and our Area Trustee Board.
You will be joining a team of talented, focussed volunteers who are all passionate about bringing brilliant Scouting to every young person who wants to take part and join the adventure.
